If you’ve never been published, now is your chance.

The point of the McGregor Short Story Weekend is to produce the draft of a short story – under our guidance – which will be published in a collection.

The weekend runs from 18 to 20 November, at Temenos in McGregor, Western Cape,  during which you’ll receive notes on short story writing, as well as a number of prompts to get you writing. We’ll support and mentor you through the writing process

What’ll it do for you?

By providing you with the motivation, the skills and a series of gentle pushes, it’ll prove to you not only that you can write a short story, but that you can write a publishable short story.

Because you’ll never forgive yourself for passing up the opportunity!  It’ll give you a published story with which to wow friends and family!
