Jo-Anne is settling into Simon’s Town, Trish and I are well on our way from the Midlands to London in our narrowboat, Patience, and Allaboutwriting is flourishing.

• Jo-Anne launched the first of an eight session creative writing course last night at David Krut Projects in Newlands. This filled up so quickly that we decided to start a second, and parallel CWC on Tuesdays, beginning on May 19.

• We kicked off a new online Creative Writing Course yesterday. Places are still available.

• We’ve filled our Venice Writing Retreat – but have taken the plunge and committed ourselves to another apartment in the same palazzo – and now have to fill that with a few more writers who simply can’t resist the temptation of spending a week writing in the world’s most magical city.

• And Jo-Anne and I are developing a new programme that we believe will knock people’s socks off…
